Guided Forest Walks

Deep in Pisgah National Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains - hiking, walking, meandering and sitting - we feel emotional, mental, spiritual, even physical healing.

Our souls whisper reminders of peace, wholeness and even unconditional love.

Christine facilitates experiences in the forest that inspire and encourage:

Our innate capacity to experience wonder.

Our seeing with fresh eyes.

Our deepest purpose, longings and intentions.

Our heightened sensing in the present moment.

“The Fresh Perceptions’ Center is minutes away from an official, yet private entrance, into Pisgah Forest.  We drive up a craggy dirt road to a small Pisgah parking lot, deep in the heart of the forest where we only hear forest sounds.  No crowds, no kiosks. Great trails. My body comes alive, receiving the healing energy. It’s holy, like a sacred monastery, temple or cathedral.

  • Reduced stress

  • Strengthened immune system

  • Improved brain function

Many of the positive effects are attributed to various essential oils, called phytoncides, found in trees and plants.  They produce these oils to protect themselves from germs and insects; and we feel their amazing benefits when we are in a forest.
